Sustaining local software and innovation ecosystems

There is a critical need for locally-sourced and -owned technology literacy, capacity and innovation in order for digital health solutions to be sustained long-term. This session brought together three efforts to address this need. Learn how the West Africa Health Informatics Team is building sustainable regional ICT capacity for digital health projects, the Ugandan Academy for Health Innovation and Impact is driving health innovation in Uganda and OpenMRS is building a healthy open source community.
